HY-III Series (liquid) high efficiency composite cement grinding aids are produced from non-ionic surfactants, with a special processing technology, having functions of aiding grinding and enhancing cement strength. They are non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-volatile and not combustible. They do not affect the concrete adversely. The series meet the Chinese specification JC/T667-2004 “cement grinding aids” and can be widely used in cement enterprises for various types of cement grinding process. II Key Features:

1, Technical parameters

    Gravity: 1.10 to 1.30;

     Boiling point: 120 °C;

     Color: colorless or light brown.

2, Features

     The liquid grinding aids of an appropriate amount are effective in improving the mill's working conditions and the efficiency of grinding. Usually the output of the cement mill will increase by 20 percent or more;

     The products improve the mill production and at the same time increase cement strength at different ages;

     With less increase of cement production, using liquid grinding aids may reduce the amount of clinker in cement and increase mineral additions by 8-10 percent, thus lower production costs.

III Use Scope and Dosage

1, the use of products applies to common Portland cements of various varieties at different strength grades;

2, Dosage: HY-III A: 0.2 ~ 0.4 ‰; HY-III B: 1.0 ~ 1.2 ‰; HY-III C: 0.5~0.7 ‰

IV Use Methods

1, Installing a liquid pulse metering pump according to mill output and the pump shall be calibrated before use;

2, Mill activation: adding HY-III grinding aid at an amount slightly more than the above mentioned dosage and operating the mill for 1-2 hours to activate the mill;

3, Adjusting for increasing production: after the mill activation, the mill output is being gradually increased by listening to the sound changes of grinding mill, controlling the cement fineness and its specific surface area at the normal level. The dosage of grinding aids also increase accordingly with mill output growth;

4, Increasing cement strength and mineral additions: under the mill output remaining unchanged, through adjusting product fineness or increasing specific surface area of cement, adding grinding aids to achieve the objective of improving strength, or under the same quality and strength to add more auxiliary cementing materials.

V Notes for Attention

1, Before the use of the grinding aids, the capacity of auxiliary equipment should be checked and adjusted;

2, During the use of grinding aids, the total weight and grading of grinding media in different compartments should be changed properly;

3, Regularly check the amount of grinding aids added;

4, Before use barrels of grinding aids should be shaked for uniformity.
